Montezuma destroyed by microtransactions

I love this series, but this micro-transaction version is awful. You dont have access to all the totems once you unlock them. Instead you have to pay gems for each one, every time. Run out of gems? Buy more for cash. Same goes for lives--and each play uses a life whether or not you meet the goal.

Now my life timer seems to be glitched. It only counts down toward a new life when the program is open. If my iPad goes to sleep or I open another program, it resets to 48 minutes to a new life.
